Everfi
Role: Director of User Experience Design (2020 – present)
Everfi is an ed tech company that creates digital learning on topics like financial literacy and mental wellness. Our mission is to deliver critical life skills education in schools for free — by connecting organizations that want to make a difference in their communities to our sponsorship opportunities.
This is a layered problem space, with user needs across students, teachers, school districts, sponsors, and internal team members. I lead the platform UX team, which supports the full software ecosystem of Everfi — from developers building courses, to teachers assigning courses and reviewing student grades, to sponsors understanding the value of their investment. My focus has been on improving product quality, maturing our design and research practices, and supporting the growth of a small team of designers.
