Worry Book

Interactive artist book exploring the experience of worrying.

Inspired by the Central American mythology of the worry doll, I was interested in exploring the different places we might store worry besides our own heads. This book contains a single sentence drawn out across spreads, with an interruption every word or two. That’s how worry feels to me — the sudden appearance, the pause, the acknowledgement, the eventual tucking it away.
